What are the causes?
Difficulty in conceiving may be due to problems with male or female fertility, or a combination of both.
*Polycystic ovarian syndrome ( Pcos)
*Diminished ovarian reserve; decrease in egg count in ovaries due to aging or other causes

Blocked fallopian tubes Prevents the egg from meeting the sperm.

Abnormalities or defects in the uterus like fibroids, septate, bicornuate or double uterus can interfere ability to get pregnant or implantation of pregnancy.
Problem with sperm production, function or delivery can cause infertility .
Causes of male Infertility:
*Infections like Gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, Mumps, HIV
*Chronic conditions like Diabetes Mellitus ,anaemia, cushing’s syndrome , thyroid disease
*Cancer or Cancer treatment
*Varicocele(enlarged and dilated veins) or varicose veins in the scrotum
*Genetic defects like klinfelter syndrome or Cystic fibrosis
*Ejaculation disorders like Premature ejaculation, hypospadiasis
*Injury or damage to the testis
*Structural defects, like a blockage in testicle
Lifestyle changes and tips to increase chances of natural conception:
– Avoid smoking
– Stop drinking alcohol
– Take healthy diet
– Maintain healthy weight
– Decrease the intake of caffeine
– Avoid excessive heat
– Speak to your doctor about any medication you are taking
Treatment depends on many factors ,like age of person, duration of infertility, general state of health and personal preferences.
